Maxi Wrap Skirt

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had a good time during the Independence Day weekend.  Mine was quite relaxing as I had a mini gateway to a lake in southern California.  I am sharing with you today how I styled my favorite maxi skirt for summer.  This skirt has all the elements of this season's skirt trend: Hi-Lo hem, Maxi length and printed.  It's even more likeable with the wrap design, don't you think?

I wore this really simple pair of sandals that you can easily take off like flip flops.  I had a dinner to go to that night as well so these shoes were perfect.  I love a good pair of sandals that I can wear for different occasions.

And to make this outfit a little more polished, I added a leather belt, placed right at the waistline.

And an outfit would not be complete without a reliable accessory.  I carried this faux leather camel colored backpack so I can fill it with all the things I would need while out at the lake.  Best thing about this bag style is you will not end up with a sore shoulder afterwards.
