All Wrapped Up

My little family celebrated my son's fourth birthday by taking a trip up north to the Sequoia National Park and Yosemite National Park.  The weather there was about 20 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit at the time, a bit chillier than Los Angeles.  We planned to get up to the mountains from Fresno the next day we arrived but unfortunately there was a snow storm warning and we had to change the course of our trip.  I was glad that it snowed because initially we wanted our son to be able to play with snow.  Fresno is about 3 1/2 hours drive from Los Angeles and 1 hour from both of the national parks.  We stayed in Fresno for the first four days, because hotel rates were more budget friendly.  On our last day, we splurged and stayed at an inn close to the southern entrance of Yosemite.  For today's post, I am sharing one of the outfits I wore during the trip and I hope you guys like it!

The trip would not have been complete without this special little guy, Happy 4th Birthday again! His other outfits can be viewed Here.

Holiday Dress Up: Toddler Boy Edition

Hi Everyone!  The holidays are getting closer and I thought it would be fun to do a round-up post on dressing a toddler boy for the colder months.  These styles are definitely semi-formal so you can use this as a guide if you got a party to attend with your little ones.  If not, your little guy can still look like a stud hanging out somewhere.

This snowflake zip-up cardigan with a splash of red paired with boots with red lace adds just the right amount of holiday spirit.  Cardigans are such versatile pieces that you can wear them many different ways.  Another way to wear this cardigan is to zip it up and wear as a sweater.

I think it's important to have a few stripe sweaters in your toddler boy's closet, because they are such classic pieces that never goes out of style.  This particular striped number came in red and navy blue.  Again the red color gave the outfit that little bit of holiday touch.

I don't know why but I have always loved the color olive for winter wardrobe.  This olive and white stripe combo is another classic combo for colder months.  I love how this sweater has three buttons on the front so that you can layer it over a simple shirt or simply button them up to wear as a turtleneck.

Last but not least, this festive sweater that can be paired with almost any color of bottoms.  In this picture, E wore the multi-colored argyle sweater with burgundy corduroy pants because we were headed to a Christmas celebration at church.  But I have paired this sweater with navy, grey, jean bottoms and they all matched perfectly!

Bundled Up!

Now that Thanksgiving has passed, I hope everyone had a good few days of rest and is feeling more refreshed.  I went on a church retreat in San Diego and heard some really inspiring messages, my weekend was well spent for sure.  I wanted to share with you one of the outfits I wore for today's post.  This outfit is so cozy and comfortable!  I am so glad that southern California is finally cold enough for me to wear this sweater and scarf.  The jogger pant and slip-on sneakers are my go-to pieces when I travel because comfort is the key when you have to run and chase after a toddler!

It's All About the Layers

One thing I do appreciate about Fall weather in SoCal is that I can dress this little guy in layers.  I don't know why but I think one just look more polished when he wears more than one piece of clothing.  I personally wear a lot of cardigans in my outfits so I thought why not put one on my son.  The end result is? As you can see from the picture... quite stylish I would say!
